Welcome to PolicyGuard!

ORG Private Client Group uses PolicyGuard to monitor the life insurance policies they service. As a courtesy, you have been automatically enrolled into this free service designed to offer you peace of mind in knowing that our secure technology keeps an eye on how your policy performs over time. If we notice anything about your coverage that may need your attention, we’ll let you know right away.

Below are a few examples of reasons we would be reaching out to you about your coverage.

Lapse Pending

To keep the coverage from a life insurance policy active, premium payments must be made according to the schedule as determined when the policy was originally purchased. If a premium payment is missed, the policy may enter a lapse-pending phase.

To avoid any potential loss in coverage, the policyowner must catch up on all their premium payments.

If you have received a lapse pending notice from PolicyGuard or the carrier directly, it’s important that you take action as soon as possible, either by catching up on missed premium payments or by speaking with a licensed professional to understand your options to modify, replace, or sell the policy.

ORG Private Client Group services your life insurance policy and would be the best place to start if you have any questions about your coverage. You can contact their team by submitting the form on this page or by calling directly at +1 (866) 222-1230.

Again, we cannot emphasize enough how important it is to take action quickly after receiving a lapse pending notice. Generally speaking, there’s only a short grace period during which you still have the opportunity to make a decision about your coverage before it automatically terminates.

Term Conversion

There are many different types of life insurance policies available for purchase. Term policies provide coverage for a fixed period of time such as 10, 15, or 20 years.

Some term policies include what’s known as a convertibility feature, which means that the policyowner can choose to convert their policy into a permanent one without having to undergo any additional medical exams or underwriting. This can be particularly useful for policyowners who’ve had a change in health since they initially purchased the coverage, or for those who are over the age of 65 since both age and relative health can make coverage costlier and more difficult to obtain.

If you’ve received a notice from PolicyGuard saying that you have a term conversion date ending soon, that means your window of opportunity to convert your policy into permanent coverage is closing soon. It is recommended that you speak with a licensed professional as soon as possible to explore your coverage options and take the appropriate next steps before it is too late.

ORG Private Client Group is the firm that services your life insurance policy and would be the best place to start. You can contact their team by submitting the form on this webpage or by calling them directly at +1 (866) 222-1230.

ART/YRT – Annual Renewable Term/Yearly Renewable Term

There are many different types of life insurance policies available for purchase such as a term policy. Term policies provide coverage for a fixed period of time, such as 10, 15, or 20 years. During this time, known as the “term”, a policyowner pays a fixed premium amount for their coverage.

When the term expires, the policy enters what’s known as the Annual Renewable Term, or Yearly Renewable Term phase. Annual Renewable Term, or Yearly Renewable Term, means the premium payments will now increase each year for a policyowner to retain their coverage.

There are two different notices PolicyGuard sends to policyowners regarding Annual Renewable Term/Yearly Renewable Term:

  1. If your fixed premium period has not ended yet, PolicyGuard will notify you before it does so that you can decide whether you’d like to convert your policy or purchase different coverage before the premiums start increasing each year
  2. If your fixed premium period has already ended, PolicyGuard will notify you and advise that you speak with a licensed professional as soon as possible to review your coverage options and determine what makes the most sense for your unique situation

In both cases, the next best step to take is to speak directly with a licensed professional.

The ORG Private Client Group is the firm that services your life insurance policy, and their team is well-equipped to guide you in the right direction based on your goals and wishes. You may contact their team by submitting the form on this webpage or by calling directly at +1 (866) 222-1230.

Life Settlement

For policyowners who no longer want or need the coverage they originally purchased, there is an option to sell their life insurance policy to a third party for cash.

Certain factors impact your eligibility to sell your life insurance policy – including you age, details about the policy type, and the insured’s health status.

The best way to find out whether you may qualify to take advantage of a life settlement is by speaking with a licensed professional.

The ORG Private Client Group team services your policy and would be a great place to start if you’re interested in learning more. You can submit the contact form on this webpage or call them directly at +1 (866) 222-1230.
